Channel letter signs in Regina are a premium 3D signage solution designed to provide high-impact visibility for local businesses, especially during the long prairie winters. These signs are custom-fabricated using weather-resistant aluminum returns and acrylic faces, typically illuminated with energy-efficient LEDs that can last 5 to 10 years.
There are three primary types of channel letter signs available in the Regina market:
- Front Lit: These feature a bright glow through the front face and are ideal for high-traffic areas like Downtown Regina and Albert St. Prices range from $800 to $2,500.
- Halo Lit: These create a dramatic 3D effect by lighting the area behind the letter, making them suitable for suburban strips. Prices range from $1,000 to $3,000.
- Reverse Lit: These offer internal depth and are often used for highways and industrial zones. Prices range from $1,200 to $3,500.
When installing these signs, businesses must obtain a Permanent Sign Permit from the City of Regina and ensure compliance with the Regina Zoning Bylaw 2019 and UL labeling standards. Professional services in the area typically cover the entire process, including design, permit coordination, fabrication, and installation.
